When individuals complete residential treatment, they may need to explore other living options as an alternative to returning to their home, living by themselves, or with others who are not in recovery. For many, sober living can provide the support and structure necessary to strengthen recovery skills before transitioning to an independent living environment. The additional support and structure can help them gain confidence and develop the skills that support a productive and healthy life while conditioning them to respond in a positive way to the day-to-day triggers that can lead to relapse. Sober Living is an essential stage of recovery. Gateway Recovery House provides recovery patients with a safe, structured and drug-free environment for independent living. At Gateway you own your recovery. As you work your program, we assist with the continuity of care recommended by your clinical therapist or health professional. You are not alone. Gateway is a community of your peers. We work with men seeking assistance in early recovery, who are serious about their sobriety, who wish to surround themselves with others with like-wise goals, and who want success in recovery.

OUR HOME
Gateway Recovery House was established to provide more than just a drug and alcohol-free environment. We believe that creating a living space that is safe, clean, structured and supportive will give our residents the additional tools they need to achieve their goals and maintain long-term sobriety.
Our directors have first hand experience in recovery, which has allowed Gateway to develop a Phased Structure and Accountability program that promotes proven sober living structures with integrated recovery tools.
Each resident is required to attend a minimum of (4) N.A./A.A. meetings per week. They must have a qualified sponsor and be actively working the 12-steps with that sponsor.
We have a ZERO tolerance policy. Any resident who has broken his sobriety will be immediately asked to leave. Alcohol and drugs tests will be administered upon arrival and randomly from that point forward.

Located in a safe residential area and just a short walk to downtown, our 2,700 SF home has single spacious bedrooms. Providing residents a clean, updated, home-like environment is an important part of Gateways mission.
