Jamie Rogers

JAMIE ROGERS

FOUNDER

In early 2019, Jamie founded Gateway Recovery House in an effort to redefine sober living houses and offer a unique approach for those in recovery. Being surrounded by addiction her whole life and witnessing the damaging effects that this disease brings to those who suffer from addiction, there has always been the desire to help those who struggled.

"I remember visiting friends and family in some of the sober living homes in the area and the conditions were not that great. They lacked supervision, rules were never followed and management only seemed to care about making money. Believing that you are a product of the environment you are in,  I set out to create a home that residents can take pride in while offering services and structured support to aide in sobriety."

With the help of those in recovery, Gateway Recovery House was founded.

ROBERT DESCHENES

RESIDENT COORDINATOR & HOUSE MANAGER

Rob oversees all aspects of day-to-day operations at Gateway Recovery House and continually seeks out ways to improve our house so that it is successful in our goal of a safe, supportive environment for continuing recovery. His responsibilities include making sure residents are adhering to their schedules and abiding curfew. Rob is active in recovery and is excited about sharing the story of his struggles and has a heartfelt desire to help others who have found themselves in the same situation. His personal experiences with multiple treatment centers and sober living homes, some 12-step, others not, have given him a broad view of the principles of recovery. Realizing that practicing the principals of a 12-step fellowship in recovery and in life, with "giving back" paramount to success, he enjoys his commitment to helping others through Gateway Recovery House. In his free time, Rob enjoys spending time with his son and attending group functions with friends in recovery.

Our Mission

Gateway is dedicated to helping our residents succeed. By providing access to comprehensive recovery services and a positive, stable, sober living environment, we encourage our residents to live a happy, fulfilling, sober life, one day at a time.

Through support, guidance, and positive affirmation, we help our residents focus on the road ahead, instead of dwelling in the past.

This positive, forward-looking approach builds self-esteem and self-confidence, fostering an enthusiasm for sobriety and promoting purpose-driven recovery.

As you begin your journey of recovery, you will receive support and encouragement from a ready made peer-based and structured living scenario. At Gateway, you are shielded from negative influences and triggers, and new, supportive relationships are formed and nurtured through fellowship.
